École nationale des ponts et chaussées

Building the worlds of tomorrow

L’École nationale des ponts et chaussées is a French ‘grande école’ founded in 1747.

A multidisciplinary and multicultural institution with an international reach, it trains high-calibre engineers and senior managers who are equipped to tackle the major challenges facing society today and in the future.

The School offers high-calibre courses addressing the challenges of the ecological and digital transition across a range of fields, from applied mathematics to economics and industrial engineering: engineering degree programmes and specialised postgraduate programmes (such as the Specialised Master’s® and MBA).

At the same time, it conducts cutting-edge research across 12 laboratories, some of which are shared with other higher education institutions, research organisations and businesses. The School is a founding member of the European university EELISA (European Engineering Learning Innovation and Science Alliance).

It is also a member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. Open to students and researchers of many different nationalities, it is a small, intimate institution with a multicultural and multidisciplinary atmosphere.
