Lucas is part of Leonard’s AI Program team, where he works as a Data Scientist Apprentice at the intersection of engineering, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence. His role involves supporting the development of robust, secure and scalable solutions designed for production environments.
Within the program, he contributes to the supervision and delivery of several projects, while also working across teams to support them in making technical decisions, applying development best practices and solving technical challenges. In doing so, he helps establish a common framework that enables teams to experiment quickly while maintaining high standards of quality, security and maintainability.
Lucas also contributes to the development of the program’s technology foundation, particularly around Azure cloud environments, automation, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, and the industrialisation of deployment pipelines. This approach aims to facilitate the transition from experimentation to sustainable solutions that can be adopted and deployed across the various VINCI entities.
Before joining Leonard, Lucas spent four years within VINCI’s IT department, where he progressively developed expertise in digital infrastructure engineering, automation, cloud technologies and cybersecurity.
Lucas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science specialising in networks, cybersecurity and AI, and is currently completing the final year of his Master’s degree in Network Engineering, Connected Devices and AI at CNAM Paris. His current focus is on further developing his expertise in data and AI, with a particular interest in intelligent system design, model industrialisation and emerging engineering practices enabled by AI.
