Investors and innovation managers from leading companies in the sector will share their perspectives on the major challenges facing the construction industry, and highlight how innovation is the key driver of sustainable growth.

The construction and use of buildings accounts for a third of carbon emissions in Europe. This sector is now at the heart of innovation efforts, benefiting from substantial support from public funds and companies in the fast-changing construction sector. Thanks to influential local industrial players and a solid regulatory and institutional framework, Europe is convincingly positioned in the field of construction technologies.

- Franc Mouwen, European Innovation Council, Program Manager in the Construction and Climate tech sectors, will be presenting his work in the field of public financing at the event. EIC funds are designed to bring the construction industry into a more sustainable world.
- Industry Panel: Leonard and its industrial partners Nova by Saint Gobain, Cemex Ventures, and Holcim Makers, will share concrete examples of successful projects involving various stakeholders in the value chain collaborating to promote innovation and contribute to achieving our environmental goals.
- Innovation Financing Panel: Our partners Fundamental, Brick and Mortar will share their vision of their role and cooperation with industrial players in the emergence of Contech.
