The role of the oceans in preserving the balance of life on the planet and the climate is better documented than ever, and many States and associations are organizing themselves to protect them better. At the same time, marine environments are whetting new economic appetites between renewable energies and the exploitation of rare resources.
Is a reasoned economic development of the oceans possible? Can the “sustainable blue economy” reconcile economic and ecological interests?
This event inaugurates a new cycle of Leonard events that will particularly examine the prospects for the development of marine energies, the future of ports and infrastructures, and the resilience of coasts and marine ecosystems.
