Two Leonard supported startups among the winners of the 2025 Construction Startup Competition

For the sixth consecutive year, Leonard is proud to partner with global leaders in the construction industry for the Construction Startup Competition. Among the thirteen winning startups, Enlaye, supported through the SEED 2025 program, and AItenders, an alumnus of the CATALYST 2024 cohort, stand out for their innovations with the potential to profoundly transform the sector.

Two Leonard startups among the 2025 winners

Leonard partnered with eight other major players in the construction industry — Cemex Ventures, Caterpillar, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures — to organize the ninth edition of the competition, aimed at identifying the most promising solutions for the sector.

This year, the competition broke all records with 563 applications from 54 countries, further cementing its position as a global platform for identifying and supporting the most disruptive talent in the construction sector.

The submitted solutions were divided into four main categories:

  • Green Construction: reducing carbon footprint and sustainable solutions

  • Enhanced Productivity: improving productivity and jobsite management

  • Future of Construction: new construction methods and technologies

Among the thirteen selected startups, two come from Leonard’s programs, in the Enhanced Productivity category:

  • Enlaye, part of the SEED 2025 Program, the incubation and investment program dedicated to solutions in the construction, energy, real estate, and transport infrastructure sectors.

  • AItenders, part of the CATALYST 2024 Program, the program helps mature startups carry out their projects by enabling them to deploy innovative products and services within VINCI’s operational entities.

They will be presented alongside the other international winners:

  • BuildCheck AI (US),
  • IRIDESENSE (France),
  • Gravis Robotics (Switzerland),
  • Hyperion Robotics (Finland),
  • Taiyō.AI (US), Alithic (US),
  • Kapture (Australia),
  • Ailytics (Singapour),

Leonard: Driving Innovation in Construction

For several years, Leonard has been supporting Contech and Cleantech startups to transform the construction sector. Its CATALYST and SEED programs provide entrepreneurs with access to the VINCI ecosystem, mentorship, field pilots, and support for commercial and technical development.

With Enlaye and AItenders, Leonard reaffirms its mission: to accelerate innovation and make construction more productive, sustainable, and connected.

AItenders: the intelligent platform for tender and contract management

AItenders offers a comprehensive solution for managing tenders, contracts, and knowledge in the construction industry, covering projects ranging from €50,000 to €10 billion.

Founded by its co-founders Geoffrey Guilly et Julien Subercaze, the platform enables companies to structure their tender responses, manage contracts, and centralize information, while optimizing processes through artificial intelligence.

Already deployed on several projects within the VINCI ecosystem, AItenders reduces risks, accelerates decision-making, and improves productivity on construction sites.

By participating in the Las Vegas Pitch Day on November 11, the team will have the opportunity to showcase their solution to investors and strategic industry partners.

Enlaye: a platform for managing risks across the entire project lifecycle

Enlaye is an AI-powered platform that helps builders, developers, and owners identify, assess, compare, and manage risks at every stage of a project.

The solution enables users to:

  • Identify and characterize risks early in the project

  • Monitor and manage them during execution

  • Learn from past projects to improve future processes

The co-founders, Philippe Rival and Stamati Liapis, are based in Boston and are developing Enlaye to make risk management more proactive and integrated across all construction projects.

The startup will represent Leonard at the European Pitch Day during Recotech and Slush Helsinki from November 18 to 20.

The Pitch Days: Las Vegas and Helsinki

The eight startups selected for the Las Vegas Pitch Day on November 18, including AItenders, will have the opportunity to present their solutions to a panel of executives, investors, and industry partners. The three most compelling presentations will be awarded cash prizes and recognized with gold, silver, and bronze medals.

At the same time, the five startups invited to Recotech in Helsinki from November 18 to 20, including Enlaye, will also showcase their innovations to an exclusive audience and compete for the title of European Pitch Day Champion, which comes with a cash prize and international recognition.
