From 31 October to 12 November 2021, the United Kingdom will host the 26th United Nations Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP26) in Glasgow. The agenda for this high point in the international negotiations will include an upward revision of each State’s commitments in the fight against global warming, transparency and monitoring of their climate actions, and financing of the environmental transition in developing countries. Thousands of representatives of governments, cities, regions and non-state actors (companies, investors, NGOs, etc.) will be on hand to take part in the discussions.
Less than a week after the end of the summit, Leonard offers you a “return from Glasgow” with several privileged observers of COP26, to decipher the conclusions of the negotiations and anticipate the next measures that States and companies could be led to adopt to meet the climate challenge.
