Leonard at Global Industrie: meet us on the AI Village

Leonard, VINCI's foresight and innovation platform, will be present at Global Industrie 2022, the fourth edition of the major international industrial event in France, from 17 to 20 May in Paris Nord Villepinte. You can find us on the AI Village: 300 m² dedicated to the "Smart: digitalization, automation, mechatronics" universe.

Since 2019, Leonard has accompanied 35 projects of design, implementation and deployment of artificial intelligence applications within the companies of the VINCI group.

The projects of the AI program are on the AI Village

Right in the center of the show, don’t miss the AI Village, a place to exhibit and present some thirty start-ups and large groups, both French and foreign, proposing an Artificial Intelligence offer, organized within the framework of the French presidency of the Council of the European Union and led by the General Directorate of Enterprises (Ministry of Economy and Finance).

Meet our AI team and discover Gutenbrain on Leonard’s booth

You will be able to meet, on Leonard’s stand, the people in charge of VINCI’s artificial intelligence course.
Gutenbrain, a new AI application for industrial documentation processing will also be present at their side.

AI in the VINCI group

The Artificial Intelligence track, born in 2020 following the conclusions of Leonard’s foresight group dedicated to the opportunities of AI in VINCI’s businesses, accelerates the deployment of artificial intelligence technologies in the construction and operations of buildings and infrastructures.

It is based on the identification of operational issues, the mobilization of artificial intelligence technologies to address them and the training of group employees. 35 projects have been supported since 2020 and are all being industrialized in the group’s companies.

GutenBrain, an AI tool for industry

The GutenBrain project aims to automate the creation of complete databases of industrial equipment from piping and instrumentation diagrams (PID) and any other technical document and to improve the search for information in technical documentation, whether PDF files or images. It allows the industry to digitize its documentation and create a knowledge base, which reduces the time needed to summarize documents and allows to find the right information at the right time to assess the criticality of the equipment and automate the creation of maintenance plans.

Launch of the Franco-German project RenovAIte

Wednesday, May 18, from 16:00 to 17:00, discover RenovAIte, on the occasion of the international kick-off of Franco-German innovation projects on artificial intelligence technologies for risk prevention, crisis management and resilience.

This international consortium brings together six VINCI Group entities (Eurovia and Roadcare, VINCI Energies and Qivy, the environment research lab, VIA IMC, RESALLIENCE), the Action Logement group, the German AI research laboratory OFFIS, and the company ALEIA, a specialist in IT infrastructure dedicated to AI, and a member of the European sovereign cloud GAIA-X. It relies on data related to construction (BIM – Satellite, photogrammetry, etc. …) and AI solutions to offer interoperable solutions for the renovation of buildings.
