Strong by Form raises $5.2 million
Strong by Form is a technology company that seeks to replace the use of steel, concrete and aluminum in construction and mobility with a new augmented wood technology.
Proprietary software optimizes the shape of the wood, resulting in efficient, custom-designed parts that guarantee sturdy, original structures.
Last December, Strong by Form secured $5.2 million in funding to build an industrial plant. Leonard, which is supporting the project as part of its 2024 SEED program, has made its participation in this financing round official, thus becoming a shareholder in the young, fast-growing start-up.

An asset for VINCI
The new technology developed by Strong By Form could help the VINCI Group achieve its environmental objectives.
VINCI is actively committed to limiting the footprint of its construction activities by using low-carbon construction techniques and materials, an area in which Strong by Form fits in.
The Group is mobilized to mitigate the consequences of climate change. It is targeting a 40% reduction in its direct greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared with 2018, as well as a 20% reduction in its indirect emissions by 2030 compared with 2019, by acting across its entire value chain.
Strong by Form could contribute directly to these objectives by successfully deploying this technology.
