Specializing in the design of modular and eco-responsible spaces, Inergeen, a member of the SEED in 2020 program, has just completed a €350K fundraising round with three business angel networks (ABA, BADGE and BAMA) and Leonard.
The objective of this startup, which has just moved to the Grand Est region of France, is to deploy its new product “Woodea”, particularly for inclusive housing projects with connected services.

Creator of modular and eco-responsible spaces, Inergeen has just completed a €350K fundraising round. By setting up in the Grand Est, the startup’s ambition is to establish itself in the region, in the heart of the wood industry, with the creation of around thirty jobs by 2024.

Since its creation by Olivier Kerrec and two architect partners, Christian and Clément Bois, Inergeen has been designing, manufacturing and delivering turnkey modular spaces that are the fruit of the synergy between two worlds: architecture and energy. The first product, Cubeen, is a dismountable metal structure intended for the event and office space market. Today, the second module, called

“Woodea”, is intended to become the startup’s flagship product, with an eco-responsible dimension and an inclusive architecture with high added value.

The challenge of this fundraising, which consolidates the company’s equity, is twofold: on the one hand, to support the development of the new Woodea product in the events market, and on the other hand, to boost its deployment in the residential housing sector and tertiary spaces (offices, micro-nurseries, schools) by using the first prototype as a showcase module.

Our intention,” says the startup’s CEO, “is to keep the two products, Cubeen and Woodea, in parallel in the events sector and to focus on the wood module in the housing/service space markets.

“By tackling industrialization and reuse in construction, Inergeen is clearing out some of the main areas of the future of construction. It is in this capacity that Leonard, VINCI’s foresight and innovation platform, has been supporting the start-up since 2020 as part of the first class of our SEED acceleration program, which is open to entrepreneurs wishing to bring new solutions to the challenges of transforming cities and infrastructures.” Julien Villalongue, Director of Leonard
