Technological innovations in construction, known as Construction Tech (or Contech), are set to revolutionize the industry by providing innovative solutions for the planning and design of built structures, preconstruction services, construction, modularization, construction products and materials, advanced tools, equipment and robotics, logistics and supply chain, as well as building and infrastructure operations and management. Leading investors and entrepreneurs gather each year to take the pulse of the industry’s start-up ecosystem at the BuiltWorlds Venture Conference.
This year, Robert Rocha Bohorquez, Managing Director of Soletanche Bachy Cimas, will present the “Contech LATAM” study carried out by Leonard and Peruvian consultancy Digital Bricks on innovative technologies in the Latin American construction sector. After a first edition in Spanish, the study is now available in English.
The report benefited from contributions from the entire subcontinent’s evolving construction ecosystem, including construction companies, start-ups, the academic sector, Construction Tech investors, research and innovation laboratories and centers, as well as national and international organizations and institutions, who shared their thoughts and perspectives. As part of the expansion of Leonard’s network of innovators in Latin America, this publication accompanies the initiatives and programs deployed by VINCI’s foresight and innovation platform in the region.
