Scale up! program

Scale up! supports projects that address the major environmental challenges that businesses and territories are facing today:

Decarbonization · Climate adaptation · New materials · Reuse and recovery · Water · Nature restoration

The ambition is simple: to bring forward solutions that go beyond the experimentation stage, can be scaled up, and deliver lasting environmental impact.

These projects have one thing in common: they have already demonstrated their value in the field and have the potential to be deployed more widely across VINCI’s businesses and territories.

For one year, selected projects receive tailored support based on their level of maturity and specific needs. The program combines coaching, mentoring, environmental expertise, and access to various Group resources, with the aim of structuring their development and deployment strategy.

Two complementary areas are at the heart of the program: 

Project development, with support focused on the value proposition, business model, sales strategy, and customer development.

Environmental impact, with dedicated support to measure, strengthen, and showcase the environmental impact of the solutions.

Project leaders can also rely on a mentor and an operational sponsor, as well as a network of internal and external experts. A range of additional services completes the program, covering areas such as financial engineering, legal advice, marketing, communications, and branding.

One of the key objectives of Scale up! is to create the conditions for solutions to move beyond their initial testing phase. The program draws on the VINCI Group ecosystem, facilitating connections with the Group’s different areas of expertise, businesses, and activities.

The program includes several key milestones throughout the year, including four Rush Weeks dedicated to project development and intensive working sessions, as well as regular reviews to monitor progress.

These local solutions are designed to be scaled across the Group’s different businesses, helping drive environmental impact at the VINCI-wide level.
