Rockease receives the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label

Start-up of our SEED program, Rockease receives the "Solar Impulse Efficient Solution" label for cost-effective solutions for environmental protection.

What are the criteria for the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label?

Rockease, a digital platform that aims to reduce CO2 emissions in the construction sector, was awarded the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” label on May 5th, which rewards cost-effective solutions for environmental protection. Rockease is supported by Leonard’s SEED program, which helps early-stage start-ups to launch and develop innovative projects through a 6-month acceleration course.

Their solution facilitates the aggregates ordering process, reduces costs and optimizes the transport of materials. From a unique digital platform, it offers its users a solution to order in a few clicks the best aggregates offer close to their construction site, to provide the CO2 emissions balance and to manage all their orders. Construction companies, production sites and transporters are all connected to improve productivity and reduce the carbon footprint of materials transportation.

This labeling follows an evaluation carried out by independent external experts and based on verified standards. The start-up was evaluated according to 5 criteria covering three main themes: feasibility, environment and profitability.

High criteria of profitability and sustainability: the #1000solutions challenge

Rockease joined the #1000solutions challenge, an initiative of the Solar Impulse Foundation, aimed at selecting solutions that meet high criteria of profitability and sustainability.

The 1000 companies selected will then be presented to decision-makers from companies and governments by Bertrand Piccard, President of the Solar Impulse Foundation. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the adoption of more ambitious environmental goals and to accelerate the implementation of these solutions on a large scale.

“We are delighted to have been chosen by Solar Impulse to be part of the #1000solutions challenge. This labeling, which is an important step in our development, rewards and validates our positioning: showing that we can bring value to companies while acting concretely for the protection of the environment”, Guillaume Richer, co-founder of Rockease.
