Kevin Cardona joins Leonard as Director of Entrepreneurial Innovation, in charge of developing incubation and acceleration programmes

Kevin Cardona was just appointed as Director of Entrepreneurial Innovation, in charge of developing incubation and acceleration programmes. Since 2018, Leonard has supported nearly 200 startups and innovative projects in the construction, mobility, energy and property businesses.

Meet Kevin

Kevin Cardona holds an engineering degree in Civil Engineering and Urban Planning from INSA Lyon and a Masters in Sustainable Development Management from HEC Paris. He was previously Chief Innovation Officer at BNP Paribas Real Estate since February 2015, after nine years at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, where he successively held the positions of office programme manager, sustainable development manager and innovation project manager.

After being in charge of innovation and sustainable development at BNP Paribas Real Estate, he was tasked with promoting innovation in all the company’s business lines and managing its technology and business intelligence.

Time to join our incubation and acceleration programmes!

Low-carbon materials, the circular economy, AI to improve productivity and safety on building sites, Construction Tech: every year, Leonard supports more than 40 start-ups and innovative projects that are transforming construction, mobility, energy and property.

The SEED programme, which supports early-stage start-ups, offers selected companies a financial contribution of 30,000 euros, 6 months’ accommodation at Leonard, the support of an external mentor and a VINCI mentor, certified entrepreneurial training delivered by the Stanford Center for Professional Development, a catalogue of experts for tailor-made support and the opportunity to take part in the Demo Day and contact with VINCI entities. In three years, SEED has supported 30 startups, which have raised a total of €11.4 million in funds and are expected to do almost €5 million in business by 2022.

The application process for start-ups and innovative projects that will join the SEED programme in January 2024 was launched at the end of May. Applicants can submit their applications before 15 October 2023 on Leonard’s website.
