Financing, support and coaching until the first round of financing
Leonard’s SEED programme is a 6-month financing and coaching programme designed for seed and pre-seed start-ups working on innovative solutions in four major areas related to the transformation of cities and infrastructures: construction, mobility, real estate and energy.
A financial contribution of €30,000, certified entrepreneurial training delivered by the Stanford Center for Professional Development, thematic workshops, coaching and mentoring sessions with VINCI experts, contacts with our network of investors (Business Angels and VCs) in France and abroad: everything is put in place to challenge, refine and validate the value proposition in order to prepare the start-ups for their first fundraising round. The start-ups end their intensive 6-month training with a Demo Day open to investors and decision-makers from the VINCI Group.

In order to enhance the value of the program, Leonard provides a SAFE Note (convertible obligations – rapid investment agreement) to the selected start-ups.
Leonard has been approved as a prescriber for the French Tech Seed fund, which allows start-ups raising their first seed capital to benefit from a leverage mechanism in the form of convertible bonds (up to two euros in matching funds for every euro raised).
Leonard is also a partner of French Tech Tremplin, which supports founders from under-represented backgrounds in the French start-up ecosystem in order to promote diversity and equal opportunities within it.

The SEED programme can be followed remotely, but start-ups can choose to be hosted at Leonard:Paris, a unique meeting and inspiration venue in the heart of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, a stone’s throw from the Gare de Lyon.
